Constraint-Driven Simulation-Based Automatic Task Allocation on ECU Networks

چکیده
Figure 1: Adaptive Cruise Control With the increasing number of ECUs in modern automotive applications (70 in high end cars), designers are facing the challenge of managing complex design tasks, such as the allocation of software tasks over a network of ECUs. The allocation may be dictated by different attributes ( performance, cost, size, etc.). The task of validating a given allocation can be achieved either via static analysis (e.g., for cost, size) and/or dynamic analysis (e.g. via performance simulation – for timing constraints). This paper brings together two key concepts: algorithmic and optimization techniques to be used during static analysis and virtual integration platforms for simulation-based exploration. The two concepts together provide the pillars for a constraintdriven / simulation-based approach, tailored to optimize the entire ECU network according to a cost function defined by the user.

Automatic Generation of a Multi Agent System for Crisis Management by a Model Driven Approach
Considering the increasing occurrences of unexpected events and the need for pre-crisis planning in order to reduce risks and losses, modeling instant response environments is needed more than ever. Modeling may lead to more careful planning for crisis-response operations, such as team formation, task assignment, and doing the task by teams. A common challenge in this way is that the model shou...
متن کاملHead-Driven Simulation of Water Supply Networks
Up to now most of the existing water supply network analyses have been based on demand-driven simulation models. These models assume that nodal outflows are fixed and are always available. However, this method of simulation neglects the pressure-dependent nature of demand that is characterized by changes in actual nodal outflows particularly during critical events like major mechanical or hydra...
متن کاملAsymptotic Close to Optimal Resource Allocation in Centralized Multi-band Wireless Networks
This paper concerns sub-channel allocation in multi-user wireless networks with a view to increasing the network throughput. It is assumed there are some sub-channels to be equally divided among active links, such that the total sum rate increases, where it is assumed each link is subject to a maximum transmit power constraint. This problem is found to be a non-convex optimization problem and i...
متن کاملDevelopment of SILS and RCP for OSEK-OS based ECU
This paper presents the Matlab/Simulink-based Software-in-the-Loop Simulation (SILS) tool for OSEK-OS based ECU. The SILS tool has the capability for temporal and functional simulations of control systems. The temporal behavior of a control system is mainly dependent on the implemented software and hardware such as the real-time operating system (OSEK-OS), the target CPU, and the communication ...
متن کاملRobust Control of Electrically Driven Robots in the Task Space
In this paper, a task-space controller for electrically driven robot manipulators is developed using a robust control algorithm. The controller is designed using voltage control strategy. Based on the nominal model of the robotic arm, the desired signals for motor currents are calculated and then the voltage control law is proposed based on the current errors and motor nominal electrical model....
